Comet 21-21

C/2004 F4 Bradfield on April 28th 2004 at 03.30 LT as seen in my old 10X50mm binoculars as it rose tail first in the NE morning twilight within Andromeda. The comet looked great with a bright white dust tail stretching for 7 degrees (14 moon diameters) in length. In the sketch you can get an idea of what I saw - the comet rising above my neighbours back garden fence (below) with a few scattered light puffs of cloud. This was Bill Bradfield's 18th visual comet discovery!
