COMET 28-28

C/2003 T4 LINEAR on March 10th 2005 at 04.56 LT in the 8" F/6.3 S.Cass at 49X. I found LINEAR during comet hunting session 502 in the morning eastern sky within Delphinus at magnitude 8.2 Dia 5.5' D.C 5 at 40 degrees elongation from the sun. The comet looked like a circular white patch of light which rapidly got brighter toward the centre with stellar false nucleus, the coma had well defined edges. On closer examination the western side of the coma was elongated away from the sun with a 5' narrow tail also pointing away from the sun. A nice small visitor in one of my favourite areas of sky.
