BACK	ORION, TOWN LIGHTS & CAR TRAILS	HOME

Darkness falls on the evening of March 28th 2009. Orion takes centre stage in the SW sky with Sirius and the Hyades to its L and R flanks. Below are car trails leading along the Coleraine Road into the town of Maghera where the greatest concentration of lights are located. Beyond these is Slieve Gallion Mountain, it's tall mast with red light can just be seen through the tree branches.
