17P/ HOLMES OUTBURST

17P Holmes in outburst at mag + 2.2 on Oct 28/29th at 00.43 BST when the comet was perfectly placed at the zenith. The coma is now expanding to such an extent that it is wider than planet Jupiter!. Even this static camera shot shows the outer green coma nearing 15' in dia. This was taken at 10x optical zoom, cropped, contrast adjusted at ISO800/15 sec exp with a fujifilm S5600 5.1MP camera.
