MOON HALO

Bright 22 degree Moon halo over the dark outline of a house at 03.00 BST on July 29/30th 2007. A Moondog also appeared on both sides which added to the show however the FOV of my camera was too small to take in the entire scene. The bright star to the far right is 'Altair' in Aquila. The stars of Aquarius can be found on the far left and Equuleus above. The star left of centre at the top of frame is 'Enif' in Pegasus. 15 sec exp/ISO400 at F/3.2. There may be a UTA present also. I really like this image!.
