Partial primary Moonbow on October 3rd 2009 at 20.30 BST in the western sky over the Sperrin Mountains captured from Maghera, N. Ireland. The almost full Harvest Moon was in the E at the time and a passing shower in the W provided the opportunity to see this rare phenomena. It lasted for 2 min's, then was gone. Car trails can be seen on the Coleraine Road below. The stars of Bootes and Corona Borealis are above with Serpens Caput and Ophiuchus to the L. This is one of four images I took at the time. 28mm lens at F/2.8 30 sec exp at ISO200.
