Classie Bawn castle at Mullaghmore in Co. Sligo which I discovered during the course of my longest storm chase to date below the border along the W coast of Ireland. The image was taken in poor light with a telephoto lens during falling rain as the hazy sun was beginning to break through the clouds on August 1st 2013. The castle looked dramatic and spectacular located on that elevated location overlooking the ocean so I had to get an image for the memory as I absolutely love castles. We didn't know it then but once darkness arrived we would be treated to the most stunning night time ocean lightning display we had ever seen from near this exact location, read the full image report from this night here. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email.
