BACK

The rising full moon low in the NE sky above rooftops on Sept 8th 2006. Notice the slight distortion to the moons southern limb due to poor seeing conditions. The thin strip of cloud passed lazily in front of the lunar disk making for a very nice effect. I took this image from inside my bedroom window (window was open of course) using the mini 'flexi' tripod which came with my camera which I them mounted on my inside ledge. The set up worked and I was quite happy with the result.
