June 15/16th. Short youtube video clip 2.22 min's in duration showing the display before dawn. The fact that is was visible at all is a testament to how bright this display was considering that I'm only using the movie mode on my Fujifilm S6500 bridge camera at night time. The brighter sectors of the NLCs can be seen including the high level blue bands along with the Moon. The night was so quiet that you can hear the Crickets in the long grass within the field I was standing in. This is hardly a spectacular video, however at least it was detectable with such basic equipment. I find it very relaxing and magical to watch, and like all good NLC videos and images, is best viewed with the lights off in the room for a better atmosphere.
