June 17/18th 00.34 BST. The Cows advanced towards me then stopped at that distance and watched, unsure what to do next, or what to make of me. It's funny, they are staring at me, however I'm staring at the NLCs. It was such a gorgeous calm night and very mild with the classic Summer feel in the air. Note the interesting colour forming above the blue on top of the display where it meets the darker sky above. Looks slightly purple-wine in colour.
