June 18/19th 00.00 BST. It's midnight and the Summer Sun is getting low as the sky overhead darkened further, and the NLCs were coming to life. I went looking for a new location and tried a few shots from here, which is along Station Road, Maghera looking N to NW at the display which was now sporting strong blue colour. The road can be seen at the bottom of image, and yes, it's a little underexposed, I was trying for car trails and had the aperture closed down a good bit however no cars appeared. Much Trop cloud was arriving now so I had to take advantage of every clear gap incase the show ended for the night. I should have used a grad filter to brighten the road. If you look carefully you can see the blue colour of the NLCs reflecting on the road to the RHS.
