June 18/19th 01.39 BST. With cloud obscuring the L section of the NLCs I quickly pan the camera and zoom into the NE section which is now spectacular in appearance. It's Armageddon all over again with crazy structure and motion. The type 5 twisting vertical feature between the two telegraph poles reminds me of the flame feature in an intense Aurora Borealis display.
