NLCs

July 19/20th 03.36 BST. There was much Trop cloud passing through from W to E (L to R) however that didn't stop me taking images, in fact, I think the dark clouds add to the images. At top are the stars of Perseus, looking N to NE with the crescent Moon to the lower R. Herringbone with shadows and small lacunosus holes are visible at random all over the image. It was honestly amazing to be standing among this tall grass on a silent night watching the Moon actually 'inside' an NLC display.
