There's nothing better than standing on a 50 million year old coastline that goes back to the Jurassic period on a stormy moonlit night hunting for storms, this was what I was doing with my partner on December 29th 2012 near Ballintoy Harbour along the Co. Antrim coast. This was a very big cell over the ocean moving L to R which was dropping hail and snow across the sea, this was taken at 10mm ultra wide angle with the anvil visible due to the moonlight and stars to the R, in the foreground is me with my red head torch, read the full image report from this night here. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email.
