May 9th 2011 severe thunderstorm outbreak across N. Ireland. I knew this was going to be a good day when I was getting scenes like this at midday. This was on Glenshane Road looking at the underside of a shelf cloud/gust front at the leading edge of a strong single cell storm which was moving left to right over the countryside. A wonderful formation of very solid whale's mouth can be seen, read the report for more information. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email.
