BACK	CONTRASTING CUMULUS COLOURS	HOME

The sunset sky from Maghera on January 7th 2009 looking SW at a busy scene before the arrival of dusk. The street lights are on but the scattered colours of sunset still linger in spectacular fashion. The contrast in colours on these weak cumulus clouds is outstanding with dark purple bodies and vivid pink-red fringes.
