Amazing afternoon on August 21st 2012 near my home in Maghera looking E towards a severe linear thunderstorm complex many miles away over Co. Antrim. The flanking line to the rear of the precip suddenly erupted into a series of very tall updraughts, the sheared middle tower was beginning to anvil out and from it's base min's later a beautiful white long duration rope funnel cloud would emerge probing close to the ground as a possible tornado presenting me with my best storm related experience of the year, read the report for more information. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email.
